Las Vegas Part 3 daytime pictures

We were in Las Vegas for 10 days.  Those days included quite a few trips to the Casinos on the strip to see how the other half lives.   They have lots of flowers and waterfalls to make it seem less like the dessert. The Flamingo has a bird habitat.   At the MGM we watched a TV show for a survey to get our reaction to it, that was fun. We saved LOTS of money by not gambling ! Other than seeing one show, and a nice dinner out for my belated birthday dinner at Wynn Lakeside, and some bottles of cold water we did not spend any money on the strip.  We did visit some of the local shopping centers and ate out at some vegan places around town.

We also visited a local county history museum.  They have some homes that were moved from the strip and areas downtown where they would have been torn down.  They were interesting.  What surprised us was that in these "historic" homes we recognized some of the furniture from our past.  It makes you feel old.

Just as a side note:  Nevada has the BEST roads that we have traveled on, wish the other states were as good !
