No, we have not fallen off the planet....2016 found us once again in NC while Wayne was working. 2017 we took two short trips. One to the mountains of NC and the other was a trip to Mississippi to escape Irma. Thankfully we had no damage at home from Irma and had an unplanned but nice mini vacation.
We highly recommend visiting The National World War II Museum in New Orleans and the National Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
A change in vehicles, we traded our Jeep for a Honda CRV.
2018 will be another long trip, this time to explore New England and some of Canada. The trip planning is underway and a late June departure is planned.

Back to Florida
From San Antonio we went to Texas. My sister, Sandy and brother, Stuart live near Houston. We had a nice weekend visit with them. Monday we hit the road headed home. We spent a night in Gulfport, Mississippi and one in Ocala, Florida and arrived home around noon on October 14th.
Our driveway is not big enough for the RV. So to unload we just park in the street and turn on the blinkers. The streets in our neighborhood are very narrow...barely two lanes. To be silly Wayne honked/blew the horn on the RV when we got home. You must remember it is a diesel so it sounds like a truck horn. Our wonderful neighbor, Gary came out and asked what he could do to help. We had filled up all the suitcases, bags and boxes that we had in the RV in preparation for unloading. Gary started carrying things to the house. Wayne made up more boxes and I loaded boxes. We had the entire RV unloaded of all but dishes and pans in about an hour. It was amazing !!!
